I Hate Spiders
I have a friend who has all kinds of reptile critters (snakes and lizards) but is deathly afraid of spiders. So when it was time to figure a quilt for him it had to be with spiders

Tango
Tango started as a picture of a Siamese kitty that my sister owned that I turned into a quilt for myself but when I went to make the same quilt for her the Siamese appliques kept getting reversed. So instead I used a picture of her Tango kitty to create the kitty. And when I went to pull fabric to make the backing I didn't have enough of any one color so I pieced it from 9 batik fat quarters.
