I made this quilt for a friend going through chemo for ovarian cancer. The butterfly is free standing lace. The embroidered phrase "Doubt Not, Fear Not" is her scripture to give her strength.

The Van Gogh Herringbone Quilt.
I made this quilt for my son-in-law, Marc, who lives in Texas. I used a Vincent Van Gogh layer cake from the MSQC. The pattern is called Herringbone with a great tutorial also by the MSQC. The quilt came together pretty quickly and was fun to place all the different fabrics in a pleasing design.
