First Quilt

This is my first quilt that I "pieced" together and I "stitched-in-the-ditch". It was a special gift for our daughter and her husband's for their 1st anniversary (which was also my husband and my 25th anniversary). The quilt was completed in three sections...the top was pictures from the four years they dated, the middle was from their wedding, and the bottom was from the wedding ceremony and reception. I hope it will become a family heirloom for her in the years to come.

A New Era
This quilt was made for a young man I had worked with and his wife on the birth of their first child...a little boy. They are avid University of Georgia fans (the wife graduated from UGA). This past December, a change was made to the university's football coach as the AD hired a popular alumni as their head coach (hence the name "A New Era). I wanted to give the young couple something that I hope would remain special to them.
