Nine Patch with Sashing

I had some left over fabric from a layered cake that I partially used, so I decided to make a nine patch lap quilt. I added white sashing for the border. I also had some yardage of the original Scrumptious fabric, so I decided to use it for the backing. The quilting was done with a simple quilt in the ditch stitch. Binding was done in a pink blender fabric. All leftover fabric was used, while thinning out my stash! My daughter claimed it, so off it went to her room! lol (Finished it 7/1/2020)

Stars and Stripes Forever

This quilt is a design pattern by Judy Martin. I wanted to make a spectacular quilt to mark my 50th quilt in 5 years, 2019-2024, for Quilts of Valor, and I think this one fit my expectations. I loved it when I saw one on Pinterest and I love this one I finished.
