Peggy's Quilt #6 - Curved Log Cabin
This is my sixth quilt. I wanted to make a traditional log cabin quilt but was seduced by Jenny Doan's tutorial on the curved log cabin layout. For this one, piecing started on June 10th and finished on July 24th, 2015. I used selected prints from the Evening Mist collection by Moda to make 36 curved log cabin blocks. The backing is Michele's Rose (gray) by Benartex. The finished size is 80.5" x 80.5". Lyn Durbin of Camlyn Quilts finished the free-motion long arm quilting on September 11th, and I finished the binding on September 27, 2015. The updated photo showing it on my bed was posted here on October 8th. I have also made a matching set of 4 pillow cases, using leftover fabric for the cuffs. I love quilting! Peggy
